Principal Full Stack and AI Engineer

We are looking for a Principal Full Stack and AI Engineer to lead the technical architecture of Genie's health intelligence platform. You will work directly with the founding team to shape the core product experience — from the AI inference layer to the consumer interfaces that make health data meaningful.

What you will do

• Architect and build the AI health intelligence core — document ingestion, clinical NLP, pattern detection, and personalised insight generation.
• Own the full stack: React Native mobile app, React web app, Node.js/Python backend, and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Define and enforce engineering standards across the codebase — code quality, testing, security, and performance.
• Collaborate directly with the founders on product strategy and technical roadmap.

What we are looking for

• 10+ years of full stack engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or principal role.
• Strong AI/ML background — experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, clinical NLP, or health data processing.
• Proven ability to build and ship consumer products at scale.
• Deep care for privacy, security, and data integrity — especially in health contexts.
